The Centers for Advanced Orthopaedics is redefining the way musculoskeletal care is delivered across the region with locations throughout Maryland, DC, Virginia and Pennsylvania.
Taylor Jones is a staff Physical therapist and Clinic manager at the Center for Advanced Orthopaedics' Waldorf location. Taylor specializes in the treatment of orthopedic and neurological conditions of both the upper and lower extremities, as well as spinal conditions. In addition to her clinic responsibilities, she continues to work PRN at Chatham Health and Rehab, a skilled nursing facility, in order to maintain versatility and stay connected with diverse patient populations.
Experience
Taylor began her career at Spectrum Medical in her hometown of Danville, VA, in an outpatient setting. She developed foundational skills in evaluating and treating various conditions. During this time, she also gained valuable experience working PRN in local skilled nursing facilities (SNF) and home health settings. She eventually transitioned to a full-time position at Chatham Health and Rehab (SNF), where she focused on managing more complex diagnoses and conditions. In 2024, she moved to Waldorf, Maryland, to join the Center for Advanced Orthopaedics, where she currently serves as a staff Physical therapist and Clinic manager. Over the years, Taylor has developed a thorough understanding of creating individualized treatment plans, progressions for exercises, and performing comprehensive evaluations for a variety of diagnoses.
Philosophy
Taylor is committed to providing personalized, patient-centered care. She views the rehabilitation process as a partnership between herself and the patient, where open communication, mutual respect, and collaboration are essential for success. Whether treating orthopedic or neurological conditions, she prioritizes an individualized approach that combines hands-on techniques, progressive exercises, and education to empower patients in their recovery. By remaining adaptable and continuously learning, she strives to stay at the forefront of evidence-based practices and ensure that every patient she works with receives the highest standard of care.
Personal
Outside of her professional life, Taylor is passionate about maintaining an active lifestyle and being involved in activities that prioritize her health and physical well-being. Since moving to Waldorf, she has began planning a wedding and spent time with her fiancé (John), and three dogs (Bently, Beans, and Charlie). In their free time, they enjoy exploring local farmer’s markets and antique stores. Taylor is excited to continue making connections and building her future during her time here in Southern Maryland.
