Justin Gittings is a DPT who specializes in orthopedic and sports injuries of the shoulders, knee, hip, ankle and spine. Justin is currently working out of the California office.
Education
Justin completed his undergraduate degree at St. Mary’s College of Maryland here is Southern Maryland. He continued his education by completing a Doctor of Physical Therapy at the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Following earning his DPT, Justin completed a Manual therapy fellowship through IMPACT. In addition, Justin has completed many continuing education course in sports rehab, soft tissue mobilization, Blood flow restriction training, and trigger point dry needling.
Experience
Justin began working in the Baltimore, MD area out of PT school working as a staff PT at local outpatient orthopedic and sports clinic. In 2022, Justin took on a role working with Division 1 athletes at the Loyola University specializing in post-operative recovery and in-season management of sports injuries. Justin joined the team at CAO at the beginning of 2025.
Philosophy
Justin’s treatment philosophy is that each patient is unique and deserves individualized care and treatment planning. He utilizes manual therapy and soft tissue mobilization to improve muscle performance and movement quality during exercise. He focuses on functional movement patterns to help eliminate pain and improve function.
Personal Life
Justin and his family recently relocated back to the SoMD area to be closer to family. He loves to maintain a healthy lifestyle focusing on functional fitness, hiking, kayaking/paddle boarding, and playing with kids. He is an avid foodie enjoying trying new restaurants and barbequing in his free time.
